Update from 14th April

Greetings

In short:

  • there is a party on Monday at The Dolphin (see below for details)
  • The year photo at the moment is going in the direction of a school photo but much more lively and active, maybe even a ‘flash photo shoot’
  • There will be a jumble sale on the 27th April, more detail will be posted
  • If you are available to sell two or three t-shirts/bags to friends and family speak to Louise to do so
  • Talks are on the 8th of may. Buy a ticket.
  • Sponsorship…Not looking great really, need lots of help on this front, Felix/Monica will follow up on this front. Also suggestions for alcohol sponsorship, if you have any speak to Rich.

School photo stylesque with a red jumper?
On roof of building? Traditional education photo with back drop of London. After everyone goes off and does own thing and get action shot of people after?
– Problem in London top of building H&S

Flash shot?
– Numbered jumper which ties in with website and tagging etc. Put large order in. Jumpers will then be connected to photo, website and exhibition…
Bric a Brac
Essex road 27th April jumble sale. More info released by surya, lea and louise later.
Idea to give everyone 3 t-shirts each to sell individual, shift to friends.
100 total leftish (bags and t-shirts)
Set up a rack/stall to be held outside uni.

Website
Every student has a 3 digit code. Numbers assigned to each student, people can text you direct to your number.
Tagging system done and easy to add.
Aesthetics can now be implemented, show shit on Monday (first day back)
Relevant images of events, posters, photos, promotional materials etc. to be given to Neville

Talks
8th May, G12. Question of price. £7/£10?
150 seats available. Day tickets, individual lectures.

Sponsorship:
Alcohol and sponsorship not looking good: need to send out packs, and speak to Rich.

    G12 officially has 200 seats. I’ll keep you posted but some great speakers confirmed so far.
